The Debate Club discussion

Hi, I'm Sky! I'm in middle school and I love debating! Me and my family are left leaning and fully on the Democrat side. I'm also an atheist, and so is most of my direct family.

I love debating, probably because my dad is a very pationatte APUSH teacher, and he has taught me his ways lol. I've currently got 3 brothers, with another sibling on the way, so I'm really excited for that :)

I love reading, especially the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. I'm also currently writing a book called Hunted. If you want to learn more about it, join the Young Authors Group. My favorite color is blue, and I have a bunny, Snowpuff, and a cat, Amber.

I love the way I can connect with characters, especially in the older series. I really miss they're old style of writing, cause we got way more characterization and little stories for side characters, like Mousewhisker (my fav character) and his obvious crush on Minnowtail, or the Berry-Poppy-Honey love triangle. We got so much characterization and side plots that let me connect a lot with the characters, and I really miss that. Now I don't know anything about 90% of the characters, especially in ThunderClan.

I started reading the warrior cat series then I stopped. I’ve read like the first 5 books? But I don’t remember anything but I think I like firestar? Lol now you guys are making me want to get back in the series

Yess after the first series it’s hard to put it down. I seriously recommend the super editions or whatever, like fire stars quest, those ones. I think they were better than the series, and yellowfangs is about her having to give up her kits to be a medicine cat and she has like empathy powers idk it’s my favorite she’s incredible. Plus I think you’d like that one.

that sounds cool, ok right when I get to the library again I'm getting the first book. You guys have gotten me started on a new quest: read the whole warriors series! oh boy this is gonna be a long one

nine, actually. dawn of the clans, the prophecies begin, the new prophecy, power of three, omen of the stars, vision of shadows, broken code, starless clan, and changing skies, but there's only one of those so far. the next one comes out next month.

He's stupid, never deserved to be deputy, was a terrible mentor to Brackenfur, generally annoying, etc etc

Okay im sorry but i agree, he was a terrible mentor, kinda betrayed firestar multiple times, then he deserted the clan when they needed him
