Ok so when we mention aliens, most of us think of the tall, skinny, long-necked green creature with big black eyes because that's how the movies and all that have made us think. In my mind, I think of aliens as other beings that live outside of Earth. I think aliens are real because the universe is infinite. And if the universe is infinite, there are infinite planets, or at least a whole lot of em. Now in all those planets, do you think that Earth is the only one that has life? Are we really that special? I find it pretty much impossible that in all of space, which literally never ends, Earth is the only one with life. I'm not sure how else to explain it. Also, why do we refer to them as aliens? If they are made the same way as we are, with evolution and all that, wouldn't they just be organisms just like us? Not aliens.

I believe in ghosts. At least for the most part. There’s too many unexplained encounters and video/photography proof to say that something at least similar to ghosts doesn’t exist.

When a person dies, there’s energy in their body that needs to go somewhere - it can’t just cease to exist. Maybe it gets absorbed back into the earth, but what if it forms into something else? The person’s energy/electricity, their memories and their core identity, are leftover after they die and form into some other entity. A ghost, a spirit, whatever you want to call it. And these entities can affect the world around them, by moving items, pulling hair, manipulating air and light, etc. but they work differently than humans because they aren’t whole. We often can’t see them, or we can but only in certain conditions, and they can’t communicate with us in the same way we talk to other humans, but we can talk to them and they are there. Whether they use their physical abilities to play tricks on us, to help us, or they simply observe, I think ‘ghosts’ are there. I don’t know if all people turn into ghosts or only under certain conditions, and there’s plenty of gaps in this idea, but it’s just a theory.

I also believe animals can turn into ghosts or ghost-like entities after they die. Their energy also needs to go somewhere. I think most animals don’t turn into ghosts, or there would be a lot more reported evidence/encounters with them imo, since there are SO many animals, but maybe some whose energy isn’t complete, like there’s something in the living world left to do, become ‘ghosts’ instead of their energy just getting absorbed into something else.

I have a personal experience with a ghostlike entity of an animal, my dog, who had passed away the year before due to old age and failing health. At the time of the experience, I had an ill chicken, who’d been living in the house for several months in a large crate or in the garden. We weren’t able to save her and she passed away one afternoon, and we took her out in the yard to bury her. At the time I kept a collection of feathers from each of my chickens that passed away, but I didn’t have a good one of this hen to keep, because she’d only lost old dirty ones and no nice ones. But as I took her out to the front yard, I spotted something in the grass. Keep in mind, this hen was basically never let into the front yard. She lived in the house or the garden, which was pretty far from the front yard. But there in the grass was one of her sleek, gray tail feathers (definitely hers because we had no other hens that shade of gray until years later).

I bent to pick up the feather, and right as I turned away, something flashed in the corner of my eye. A running dog, brindle with black and gray, medium sized. The exact same color as the dog that had passed a year prior. I turned swiftly and there was nothing there. No animal, no person, no objects that it could have been. Just grass. I examined the feather and later placed it in the box with the others I kept, and having it with me helped me through the grief of losing this hen. I haven’t seen the dog since, and there was no explanation for it, but I had a strong feeling that my dog had left the feather for me to help me through this second loss.

I believe in the paranormal. I’ve come into contact with what I believe are ghosts. There’s this shadow person who lives in my house and every now and then you’ll see him peek in your room at night. He’s this really tall dark and curious spirit. We’ve seen him during the day time too— my brother had an encounter where he ran right past him really fast. He’s just a shy and curious one. But more recently there was a more weird experience where either one of us upset him or another spirit had entered the house. For four nights in a row my closet door would just slowly open. And it needs a good push to do so. After those four nights it stopped and the next day right before dinner me and my brother had been hanging out in my room and we were both getting up ready to go out to the dining room. I was the one who got up first and walked to the hall but as i walked past my closet the opposite door fell off the hinges and almost hit me in the head. After that me and my brother just stared at each other and we knew it was super odd. So that night i burnt some sage and cleansed my room and that spirit hasn’t acted that way since.

Woah that's crazy 😭 I've never seen a spirit but I've heard lots of unexplainable noises, had what seemed like a conversation with something through repeating knocks on the walls (I would knock 3 times, it would knock four, repeatedly and for several nights), and had an extremely heavy barn door open on its own behind me. That's so cool you had those experiences honestly, I'm still a bit doubtful so I kind of want something bigger to prove it to me yk lol.

Spirits and demons are 100% a thing, and they are 100% trying to take over the spiritual world. Spiritual warfare is happening all around us, and people are being possessed by demons every day. That’s what I believe. I would love to discuss this more and find out other people’s views on this subject.

well, according to my beliefs (what i was taught) demons are fallen angels, and they possess people to either torment them or to bring them away from jesus, and that is not the only explanation for the definition on possessions but it’s one of my main ones

I'm still figuring that out, but I believe that when we die, our energies can linger, take forms, and affect the living world, and that all of our energy, memories, and identity has to go somewhere and can't cease just to exist when we die. I don't really believe in demons but I do believe in different kinds of energies that create different spirits.

(I don't really have any scientific sources, just personal experience and worldview 😭 )

@Ava, yes I can! There are hundreds of accounts of people seeing demons and spirits. If you read seeing the supernatural by lee strobel, that gives real stories about real life encounters. Also, if you listen to the podcast called blurry creatures, specifically the episodes on this subject, you’ll also get tons of evidence and eye witness accounts from both Christians and non Christians. Hope this helps

I go back to the fact that matter cannot be created or destroyed, and energy is just transferred to different forms. So I think that in a purely scientific sense, there’s always going to be the atoms that make up people, and those carried their energy. I don’t have any personal paranormal experiences apart from a weird dream but I definitely think that there’s something to be said for people coming back to see their loved ones, or their energy and sort of “essence” still being around

Livi, dead people don’t come back to see their loved ones by themselves. Most of the time when that happens, it’s the loved ones “summoning them back”. Again, this is my beliefs, no hate towards anyone else
