Around for six years now, we have done too little about weird fiction poetry. This folder is created for the purpose of discussing all things to do with that very subject. It includes us making some, if we care to, as individuals, or collectively. It can also include sharing appreciations of our famous weird writers' poetry. Clark Ashton Smith comes prominently to my mind as our greatest weird poet, followed closely by Edgar Allan Poe, if one considers him a weird fiction writer (I do--our first one).
In many magazines of weird fiction, good weird poetry was and is being published by lesser lights seeking an audience for their poetry. Weird Tales published and still publishes a lot of poetry. The magazine Strange Horizons (http://strangehorizons.com) still publishes today online for free a lot of great weird poetry.
This folder is all about giving weird fiction poetry lovers -- are there any among us? -- a home for discussing a cherished format of our beloved genre.
