i mean those situations aren't even comparable imo 😭 with abortion you're possibly saving the mother's life, and eliminating something that has the potential for life but isn't technically alive yet. but when you don't wear a mask you're putting everybody around you at risk, and the people around you are actual breathing people. some might even have conditions that make them extra susceptible to certain illnesses

I think the major point is tho that the pro-lifer believes the fetus is a life so that's why they think its ironic when the pro-choice person says not putting on a mask will kill innocent people. It all comes down to when people think life starts or what is considered a human life.

The difference that nobody takes into account is that abortion is beneficial to one of the humans being affected by it. And it’s consensual. Not wearing a mask can unconsensually get people sick, and it does not benefit anyone, unless you want to count the mask wearer. But also, if the mask wearer is sick and has the virus that isn’t currently affecting them, a lack of mask could allow them to get the virus that does affect them, it goes both ways.
