This thread is to discuss Roses Are Red, the sixth book in the Alex Cross series by James Patterson.

Finished. A good one

(view spoiler)[ Sad to see Christine go but it was understandable the way she was acting since the kidnapping. Why is it that everytime he gets with someone, something bad happened. At leat Aj is living with them.
Was a good story with the cops robbing banks and who was doing the killing (hide spoiler)]

Starting today. As usual, an engrossing, super-fast read. I really enjoy this series!

Wow. Just wow. Finished today. (view spoiler)[I read this in almost a single sitting... it just flew by! I care so much about Cross and his family; when Jannie had the seizures and was in the hospital I forgot this was supposed to be a murder mystery and was just in it for the story of a father coping with the illness of his child.

I'm with you. Not surprised Christine left, but I'm sad for Alex. But really, how was she going to stay?

And the Mastermind plot. Wow! I remember thinking at one point, "Wouldn't it be fascinating if it was {who it turned out to be}?" But that was just a random thought, not something I really thought would be true.

That ending, though! Wow. Can't wait for the next book! (hide spoiler)]
