How’d you like this book? Yay or nay?

Jennifer | 5 comments I am half way through, we’ll see how it unfolds.

Jennifer | 5 comments I finished while driving around today. I really liked learning more about Tb, especially all the data! There are comical parts because we have so much clinical Lab knowledge , there are mispronunciations that were funny!

Let me know what you all think!

I didn’t realize this is the author of The Fault in our Stars! Not a book I would typically pick up, but I still enjoyed hearing Henry’s story. Cepheid’s shout out was in a negative light…I do think it’s important to understand healthcare not only within our nation but from a global perspective - it’s hard for me to wrap my mind around how inaccessible modern medicine is to some countries.

Jennifer | 5 comments Agreed, Henry’s story was enlightening considering it’s current. When Cepheid got a shout out , I was laughing pretty loud in my car and someone near me was looking at me like I was a weirdo. 😂 So much about this gave me insights into how fortunate we are to live where we do. Third world countries do no have access to healthcare in so many ways, diagnostics, treatments, providers, it was actually shocking!

Courtney Cibulsky | 2 comments So much history to unpack. This is not my typical read. I was enlightened, encouraged,, disheartened, and humored throughout reading. Definitely made me more empathetic of those touched by the world’s deadliest infectious disease.
