Reading now .. generally enjoying Steves shenanigans .. missed the memo that this box set was 5-7 and not 5-8... Noticed while checking chapters ..

Huh, really? Well that's annoying, since it says 5-8 on the title...

Actually, I think it's missing #7, and is 5-6 and 8... looking at the description... St Peter's isn't in the book...

Reading this tonight--agree that Steve's shenanigans are pretty fun so far. Fun cameos too--Dante and other classics, Angel Michael as a surfer dude... Through Chapter 14 (view spoiler)[I also like the tension that Steve's new status has put with his old friends in Hell... like Beezy... (hide spoiler)]

The Dweebles are cute--in Chapter 18 (view spoiler)[The way that hand signals are part of their language--we just had a big conversation about that in the Wise Man's Fear BR--I think that's the only other book I can think of where hand signals are a big part of the language, even if this little bit was only for comic relief. (hide spoiler)]

Finished! That was sweet--(view spoiler)[And with the way that Satan keeps acting like a spoiled brat, and Beezy just thinks of everything as the job... I can't help but wonder if the series is going to end up (or in one of the books, maybe not end) with Beezy taking over Satan's job... (hide spoiler)]

I listened to this one earlier and I really enjoyed it! I loved how Steve was using his new status to disrupt Hell. I also loved the cameos, those are probably my favorite thing in the series. Looking forward to Beezy's story :)

Hear hear! It was pretty funny seeing Steve try to balance his new status and old job... Kind of makes me think of someone getting promoted, or getting a better job at a rival company, and doing a victory walk in the old floor...
