Starting! Through the Chapter 1, and it's getting me a lot of giggles already--(view spoiler)[Though seriously, book themes come in at least threes. Stephen King, Jasper Fforde, and now Mark Cain all have self-insertion segments!

Finished! This was an interesting one--(view spoiler)[kind of reminds me of Mel Brooks' History of the World Part 1--I don't think he ever did Part 2. Started out as a parody cliff-notes of the Bible, and then got into much of the history of the world. Lots of fun cameos and twists on history, and a bunch of fun one-liners, even if there's not much in the way of "plot". (hide spoiler)]

Reading now... not a big fan of this one, so far...

It has some moments, but the general schtick of the book feels quite one note...

As long as Mel Brooks stays alive we'll continue to get unexpected sequels, I think... he's like 95 now, right?... checked google and he's 99... (I had no idea, I just guessed from how old he looks in those 2 trailers, compared to other old Hollywood notables that live forever)...

I finished this today and I really liked it! (view spoiler)[We got to meet Baby Booh! And I did not realize his name was BOOH I assumed it was just Boo since I listened, love the Bat Out of Hell acronym! I really enjoyed seeing how Beezy and Satan worked through history to get official control of Hell. I thought it was an enjoyable, quick and easy read :) (hide spoiler)]

BOOH... Bat Out Of Hell... maybe I'm just an acronym nutter that noticed immediately and thought everyone else did, too...

It definitely has Crowley and Aziraphale similarities... Good Omens flashbacks / season 2...

Yeah I had Boo in my brain but I have an aunt whose nickname is Boo so maybe that is why? I doubt it though lol

It does!

I think Boo was explained as BOOH in book 1? I honestly can't remember.... Super cute though.

Maybe a line like "The proverbial Bat Out of Hell" but not actually spelling out that it was his name...
