Christian Thrillers discussion

Hello! I've been searching for thriller genre novels that give the readers visibility into both the spiritual and the natural realms. Remember "This Present Darkness" by Peretti? Does anyone have recommendations of reads or authors that are more recent?

I'm asking because I've just completed a draft of something in this genre. Authors are supposed to read in their genre, right? Well, I'm having a hard time finding good reads that don't get weird with the angels, or focus too heavily on demons. (I've got a post for beta readers over in the Beta Readers group, if anyone's interested).

"Angelfall" by Susan Ee is probably a good comparison. I'm working on a draft in this genre as well and might be interested in taking a look at your draft.
