Here's the thread for all of your thoughts, feelings, fears and general comments for Prey, warning this will contain spoilers!!!

This is a classic Crichton book where a small group of scientists have developed a swarm of nano particles that are able to communicate and co-ordinate with each other in order to gather information. Designed with a military purpose in mind the swarm escapes the lab and hold it hostage, intent on killing all of the scientists inside. The story follows their attempts at understanding what went wrong and how they can fix it or how to destroy the swarm.

This book raises some interesting questions about the use of technology and what can happen when it goes wrong. And the scariest part is the fact that the swarm managed to outsmart the scientist who created them, which lets face it can't be a good thing.
