!!SPOILERS AHEAD!! ok so i’m like 40% though the book and i enjoyed it until after the first trial. that conversation with mirryn was so random🤷‍♀️ wdym she only survived bc prince thinks she’s pretty😭 i really hope there’s more to that…

!!SPOILER AHEAD!! also my theory is that jaren is a prince and have elemental powers. if he won’t be i’ll be very surprised🫢

i feel conflicted with the book so far bc i love the characters, they’re awesome, but the story itself is quite boring so far. the repetitiveness and routine is hard to get through. although i heard that this series is getting better with each book tho.

THE LAST 20% WAS CRAAAAAZY🫢 the plot twists were quite predictable !!!SPOILERS!!! i only was surprised by jaren being deverick (i thought he was the youngest brother ngl), him having all elemental powers🤯🤯🤯 AND THAT TILDA ALL THT TIME WAS KIVAS MOTHER?!?! WHAAAAAAT

i think the story was kinda boring in the middle bc of the routine ngl so i think that book could really benefit from being shorter. there was no need for 400+ pages.

Lmao, since I started my love for fantasy 3 yrs ago, I only read that (still do, apart from the rare change in genre) I started predicting what would happen but it never lessened my experience, anyways, there were the rare books that I couldn't predict and it thrilled me😭😂but yeah, main point is that I also read too much fantasy
