Em | 4 comments Hello! If you enjoy sapphic adventure books like Burning Kingdoms, I can recommend Rand by Silvia Shaw or Left to Burn by Nikki Stavros. Breaking Legacies by Zoe Reed was a good read too, and She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan was one of my favorites.

AJ | 3 comments okay I don’t know as much about adventures, but I do love a good sapphic romance !

going bicoastal by dahlia adler is a sliding doors style book about a bi girl deciding which of her divorced parents she wants to spend her summer with - her dad in new york or her mom in la. The book is super fun and cute - there’s a huge theme of music for new york and food for la. Plus the author and MC is Jewish and talks a lot about her culture and traditions and it was so cool and interesting to read and learn about. As the name implies, the MC does find summer romance - either with a boy if she’s in la or a girl if she’s in new york. It’s very much a rom-com book and is just a very fun summer read. The only TW I would give is the MC mentions having self harm scars and then it is mentioned that the MC has sex (it is not overly detailed, definitely more of a fade to black style, just wanted to give a heads up)

late to the party by kelly quindlen is a coming of age book that made me nostalgic about my summers as a teenager and how fun they were

hairpin curves by elia winters is fun if you like second-chance romances ! It’s about two former best friends reconnecting on a road trip to a wedding. I won’t lie, this one was kind of slow to get into, but I promise the spice makes it worth it (if you like spicy books like that!)

written in the stars by alexandria bellefleur is a very cute swoony rom-com vibes book that I think is super fun, especially if you’re into astrology ! There is some spice in this one as well

d’vaughn and kris plan a wedding by chencia c. higgins is a fake-dating romance and I think it’s fun if you like reality shows ! Sapphic couples who just met have to convince their families that they are getting married in less than 6 weeks. It’s kind of hard to explain, but it’s a competition show that’s kind of like love island in that it’s all about seeing if contestants pick love or money in the end. This one also has a lot of spice in it and I also wanted to add that I listened to this one as an audiobook and laughed out loud several times, that’s how funny it is (:

for her consideration by amy spalding is like a sapphic fan-fic fantasy come to life. A woman in PR ends up getting involved with a celebrity she works for and they date in secret. There is spice in this one as well and there’s some not as light-hearted moments, but overall I liked it for the same reason I really like Casey McQuiston’s books in that while it has some heavier moments and subject matter, it’s ultimately about a queer found family and how much fun they have (:

anyway hopefully some of these sound like what you’re looking for !
