H all, although we seem to be getting. a lot of rain in Southern Ontario, I am looking forward the the May flowers.... and of course reading outside soon!!

what are you reading? any recommendations?

I'm back to reading Powers and Thrones: A New History of the Middle Ages by Dan Jones. I'm hoping to start a reread of Outlander with a friend of mine as a buddy read in a little book club we started, but that depends on when she can get a copy in her hot little hands. With the election weighing heavily on my career prospects, I wound up putting down a lot of books I tried to start the past few weeks, so hopefully May is a bit of a turnaround.

The most recent Canadian book I read was Love Comes Softly which was better than I expected considering it's not my favourite genre.
