I would love to read The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai, but I find it quite hard to drive engagement for the May-25 book so am happy to let other people picks take precedence if there are any other nominations.
Today's the last day to get in any nominations!
The poll will go up tomorrow (unless I forget like I seem to be doing with everything else these days... ). ; )

Nominations are closed for the June Open Pick, but this would be a fine nomination for the next month!

Great choice! I'm not sure if I will reread but will surely participate in discussion. I recommend this to any who have not read it. Even if not to your taste, I think it is worth the effort.
A really good one, I read it last year and enjoyed it and agreed it’s shortlisting for the booker was well deserved!
