Anyone up for:The Tainted Cup
Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection
Blood Over Bright Haven
Those are my top priorities for now!
@Anushka, I'm in for Problematic Summer Romance!Since it's out yet, it's hard to set up a reading schedule but we can guesstimate. I'm a pretty fast reader but not sure what your type of pace is. Goodreads says it's 416 pages, so if we budget 5 days that would be about 80-85 pages per day (if my math is right). Does that sound doable or do you want to stretch it out more/shorten it?
@Katie, I'll read Blood Over Bright Haven with you, but I can only start after the 9th. Would that work for you?

My brother just gave me Tainted Cup!
Here is what I am aiming to read in June so far: The Odyssey (specifically the Emily Wilson translation)
The Hate U Give
Part of Your World
@Katie & Ela re: Blood Over Bright Haven: I'll join in on this one as well! I have no restrictions on schedule so whatever works best for y'all!

Juliane wrote: "@Brianna - I would like to join you for The Odyssey - I could start anytime in June"It looks like there are 24 "books"/chapters in The Odyssey and the translation version I'm aiming to read (since it's the one I own) is around 526 pages so about 22 pages per "book". I was thinking of maybe doing a "book" a day so there's room in the month for catch up days? Maybe start on the 1st? This doesn't account for the introduction at the beginning that is like 100 pages or the notes at the end.
@Peyton and @Brianna when would it work for you? I don’t have any other buddy reads so far, so I‘m flexible on the dates. How about a 7 day period to read it?
@Juliane and @Anushka are you up to read The Prisoner’s Thronein June?Of course everybody else who wants to join is invited as well. Just asked Juliane and Anushka because we buddy read the first book this month.
@Brianna reg The Odyssey I've recently bought the audiobook of the Emily Wilson translation so we'll be discussing the same translation without issue. Starting on the 1st and one part per day through the month works for me, maybe starting with the introduction and then "chapter" 1 on the 2nd?
@ Sarah-Vanessa reg. The Prisoner’s Throne I'll finish part one later today and am totally in for part two. How does splitting it over 10 days again sound? Maybe starting on the first weekend of the month, like 7th/8th? Although later in the month would be no problem for me either.
@Juliane that works perfectly! How about this schedule:June 7: Prologue – Chapter 2
June 8: Chapters 3 – 5
June 9: Chapters 6 – 8
June 10: Chapters 9 – 11
June 11: Chapters 12 – 13
June 12: Chapters 14 – 16
June 13: Chapters 17 – 18
June 14: Chapters 19 – 21
June 15: Chapters 22 – 23
June 16: Chapters 24 – 25|
It's going to take me a few more days to finish Stolen Heir but I'm totally up for Book 2 in June. I can start on June 9th though but I'll catch up.

I have a hardcover and it looks to be 366 pages so 7 days would be about 52 pages a day so that works for me! I am also flexible on dates.

Héloïse RE: For She Is Wrath & The Night Ends with Fire
I would be willing to read those two with you! Do you have a preference on time frame or how long to read them across? Ideally not in the first week for me since I already have a couple reads planned.
@Héloise I‘ll do 1984. I started it already but I can hold on until the buddy read. And I‘ll also read The Teller of Small Fortunes
@Héloïse @Brianna
I’ll join For She Is Wrath . Does the 10th onwards work? I can check chapters and make the schedule if you let me know how many days you want to read it over/ how many pages a day :)

I’ve had 1984 on my tbr for a while so this is a good excuse to pick it up. When would you want to start?

I’m also happy to read Sorcery and Small Magics but if you’ve got a lot on and can’t squeeze it in this month, I’m happy to wait till July, just let me know :)

I’m reading the penguin modern classics edition, and excluding the introduction, the appendix etc, it clocks in at 342 pages.
The 15th works for me, I can make the schedule I just need to know how many days you want to read it over/ how many pages a day? :)
