Scar and Thresher
Also this one is good by Mark L'estrange:
Night Of The Kraken
Then if you would like to read a haunted story that is set out in the sea there is this one by Darcy Coates:
From Below
I'm a big fan of Rolling in the Deep and Into the Drowning Deep, which is deep sea mermaid horror/sci fi.
You could go with a classic like Jaws or you could go with a different (and in my opinion better) Peter Benchley book called White SharkThe Deep by Nick Cutter
The Sphere by Michael Crichton
Or maybe something kinda goofy like Meg or The Loch
I'm late to the party but From Below by Darcy Coates is so creepy and is definitely a deep sea horror.
There are a couple of those to choose from!Dead Sea by Brian Keene
Dead Sea by Tim Curran
Also:
Dead in the Water
They Bloom at Night
Starfish
The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Other Poems
Adrift on the Haunted Seas: The Best Short Stories
The Deadly Deep
Dead Silence
