What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I'm trying to find a book that was around in the 1970s or 80s.

It was about Jason and the Argonauts but was told from Medea's side so it had a lot about her family etc.

I do remember that there is a scene maybe at or near the end of the book where Jason is sitting on a beach underneath the bow of the Argo (which is his foretold death?) that Medea had predicted.
