Previous Book: The Foxglove King by Hannah WhittenCurrent Book: Out of Air by Rachel Reiss
Inspiration: Author likes horror
Previous Prompt: The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson BennettThis Prompt: Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree
Robert Jackson Bennett has been a finalist for the Hugo Awards and so has Travis Baldree
This prompt was so hard for me. I had previously read forget me not by Stacy Willingham. Her bio is pretty sparse even if i look online. The onmy thing i can think of is a flicker in the dark because her bio mentions she wrote. I wanted to read famous words but nothing seems to match.
Previous book: Cobra by Deon MeyerCurrent book: The Stonecutter by Camilla Läckberg
Both authors won in the International Category of Le Grand Prix de Litterature Policiere.
Previous book: Morbidly Curious: A Scientist Explains Why We Can't Look Away - Coltan Scrivner - 11/05/25Current book: Replaceable You: Adventures in Human Anatomy - Mary Roach - 11/7/25
Scrivner wrote about being morbidly curious and Roach's book falls into that theme.

17. Inspired by something in the previous author’s bio: Find something in the previous author’s bio to inspire your next read. Maybe it’s their location, pets, family members, awards they’ve won, hobbies, another book they wrote, etc. For this prompt, choose a book that’s somehow connected to that. You can use any fact from the author’s bio located on the book you just read, their website, or another online source to inspire you!
Sample Challenge: Taking a read through Toni Morrison’s author bio (I chose her book for prompt 16) and I see it says, “Morrison was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2020.” For this prompt, I chose another woman inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame – Louisa May Alcott, and read her book, Little Women.
