I propose “slow days, fast company” by Eve Babitz, just because I’ve been on a 60’s-70’s California kick recently and I’ve heard all good things about her writing. Also Carmilla, because who doesn’t love vampires!

if we wanna be super rom commy, we could go with great big beautiful life?? i know emma mali and i all like emily henry and it seems like it should be an easy read to start off with
