Heads up: the author has arranged with Amazon to make this month's book available as an early paperback, but only through the end of this week. Also, the Kindle is discounted through the end of the week.
Would love to hear how you react to this book. 🎻

I loved the book (and thank whoever nominated it for discussion). The ending struck me as abrupt so I'm hoping there will be a sequel.

Glad you loved it, M.
My husband & I do too. We're reading out loud at dinner but had to pause for a visit from out-of-town family. About half-way. Happy to get back to it later in the week. ...So, can't comment yet on the ending.

Thanks for noting that it's available on Hoopla. I'm borrowing and am eager to jump in.Jan, what an excellent idea to read aloud during dinner!
Also available at Everand, immediately available [not restricted to one of their paid plans].

I didn't know Hoopla worked like that. What, across the board at libraries? So glad I mentioned!
Although I don't know how it ends (often so important to a book's overall impression), it is a good book. My husband and I don't necessarily enjoy the same books equally, but this one we do.
It's also a book that stands up to an oral rendition. On the other hand, some books, you don't necessarily want to hear every single word!
I don't know if reading aloud would have worked when we still had children at home; we didn't start that soon. But, later, I was always on him to converse at dinner. You can imagine how that worked.
We have covered a lot of books this way, and I haven't choked yet. ;)
And now we often can't shut up.

Here's hoping lots of you will read it.
