My choice for prompt #12 is Egyptens pyramider by Dick Harrison
The main cover colours are blue and sand, so I'll be looking for a cover with orange and purple. Firstly I'll check my Swedish history books - No luck there, now I am checking A Very Short Introduction books.
Books I already own:
and 4 more
Previous Book: Challenger: A True Story of Heroism and Disaster on the Edge of Space by Adam HigginbothamCurrent Book: Don't Let the Forest in by CG Drews
Colors: White > Black
Previous Prompt: How To Be A Good Creature: A Memoir in Thirteen AnimalsThis Prompt: Everyone on This Train Is a Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson
Cover: Gray/Green to White/Red
Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers Who Helped Win World War II has a black, white and gold cover, so I'm going to follow with Blue Labyrinth by Douglas Preston, which is black, white and blue.
Last prompt: The Doctors Blackwell: How Two Pioneering Sisters Brought Medicine to Women and Women to Medicine - Janice P. Nimura - 8/24/25This prompt: A Frightfully Fatal Affair - Hannah Hendy - 9/4/25
Purple/yellow

13. Cover is on opposite side of colour wheel to previous book: What colour was your book cover for prompt 12? For this prompt, we’re looking for a book cover that is on the opposite side of the colour wheel.
A colour wheel is an illustrative tool designed to help show the relationship between colours. Opposite colours have a high contrast to each other but are complementary. Examples: Red and green, orange and blue, purple and yellow, black and white, etc.
It’s up to you how specific you’d like to get regarding varying shades, multiple colours, etc.
Sample Challenge: My prompt 12 choice was The Last Secret Agent: My Life as a Spy Behind Nazi Lines which has a mostly dark black cover that transitions into grey and green. So, for this prompt, I’ll be looking for a white cover with maybe a little red on it. My copy of The Snowman by Jo Nesbø fits perfectly.
