Hallo! I hope you all are back having a great day. After finishing 1984, I’ve been thinking of buying more dystopian books. I came across “We” by Yevgeny Zamyatin.
I’ve checked the reviews and people consider it “hard to read” or “plainly boring”, other says it’s “way better than 19” or “one of the best dystopian books of all times. I know the language might be fairly harder to understand because of how old the book is; anyone that has read it, would you recommend it to me? Thank you!
I think it's a good book to read. I wouldn't say it's better than 1984. However, I would say that you can clearly see how it inspired other Dystopian writers like Huxley. I recently rated it a 4/5. However, 1984 is a 5/5 for me.
