Hilde Helseth | 228 comments I just found out that the book I started reading today fits a prompt, #37 Genre chosen for you by someone else

Skogens menn - minner og myter om hoggere og fløtere by Ingar Kaldal
Skogens menn - minner og myter om hoggere og fløtere by Ingar Kaldal
about lumberjacks.

A neighbourg of mine who has a car, and drives me on local shopping trips in exchange for books and DVDs, asked me if there was a book about lumberjacks and the forest industry in Scandinavia. I remebered that I had seen this book, but hadn't planned to read it. They had it at our local library, but he wanted a copy of his own, and shortly after I came across it at a sale and got a copy.

BRANDY MAYNOR (brandymaynor) | 2 comments I read 3 books in May :)

Pachinko - Set in country with active volcano

The Third Gilmore Girl - Celebrity on the cover

The Prison Healer - Cover font is primary color

message 9: by Ashtyn (new)

Ashtyn | 41 comments I got through six novels, seven volumes of My Hero Academia, and DNFed a book. If I'm remembering right, all six books fulfilled prompts, four main challenge prompts, and two bonus. I definitely loved The Extraordinary Disappointments of Leopold Berry and can't wait for the sequel
