Random Victim - Michael A. Beck
Charlotte - G+ - Had a hard time getting into it but warned to the characters after a bit. The relationship seemed a bit off, but the partner was interesting. The book did keep her interested.

Grave Sight Charlaine Harris
Charlotte - VG+ - Light and fluffy; she enjoyed it. There were a few too many murders and not all were totally explained, but she will read the next book in the series.
Corona - VG+ - Loved it; had so much fun with it. Liked that the characters weren't jaded. Enjoyed the paranormal mystery and that there were not too many loose ends. It was a great romp and she will read more.
LJ - VG - This is a darker series than Ms. Harris' others, and I really enjoyed it. The characters are fascinating; Harper is vulnerable, Tolliver, protective and, although some of their history is given, you know there's more to come. The characters in may not be likable, but they are realistic. Even though I figured out where the story was going, I enjoyed the journey and the suspense. I applaud Ms. Harris for creating a different, very interesting character, and look forward to seeing where the road takes them next.

The Anatomists
LJ - OK - Once you get past the silly premise and massive coincidences, plod through the expansive language and interminable exposition, you’ve made it through a decent story. I did keep turning the pages and thought the murder weapon clever. I also appreciated the author providing the reader with the important clue. It was okay but there are better books about medical schools and resurrections of the period.
