Emi Porter | 93 comments Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I rant—loudly, lovingly, and sometimes with mild literary rage—about books I’ve read. Whether I adored them or barely made it to the last page, this is my no-judgment zone to let it all out. Sometimes the writing sweeps me off my feet. Sometimes the plot twists leave me emotionally wrecked (in the best or worst way). And sometimes… I just need to ask why that one character made that choice. Whatever the case, this space is for all my bookish ramblings—raw, honest, and unapologetically opinionated. Join me, or don’t. Either way, I’m talking.

I adore this little corner of the internet you've created 🤗 you're awesome! Ok here we go. Imajica! The ending left me breathless! A perfect end to an epic journey. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. It's a beautiful (and sometimes sad) love story, wrapped around an epic, historical journey of three particular individuals to magical worlds filled with exotic creatures! To even love/hate an otherwise ugly, evil character who does unspeakable things is a testament to Clive's ability to develop characters in a fashion that you can't help but feel deeply for. Oh my I'm rambling...I've read this book twice. 20+ years ago and just recently. I will read again! Clive sets scenes and scenarios unlike any Author I've read. I know some people couldn't stand this book, but my oh my! Easily my all-time fave book so far!
