Speaking of Maya, what do you think should happen to her? She seems to choose abusive men so is she looking to be punished? Should she ever have rights to her son?

Maya is going to prison for killing Donovan. Like her mom said "she doesn't know how to get out", but she definitely gravitated to abusers. I don't think she cares about the baby, and I hope she loses her paternal rights to him.

Poor kid - mother and father are both messed up murderers. Sucky start to life.

Maya shouldn't get custody of her son. She will end up in another abusive relationship. She can't help herself.

Maya has serious psychological issues and should never have any rights to that child. She never put him first.

Maya's tendency to pick abusers made me wonder about her parents. Was there abuse there? Her dad was really touchy-feely at the hospital, and I got an off vibe from him.
