Closure that I don't think Josie knew she needed. Healing will take a while. Lila will always haunt Josie, but with time and love Lila will eventually be less and less a presence in Josie's life. I didn't get the significance of pouring the ashes in the creek. I'm not that deep into the symbolism and have no idea what it meant.
I believe it was a healing moment for Josie. She confronted the woman who hurt her so much. It will be a slow process, but it is a start. I thought pouring her ashes in Cold Heart Creek was Josie washing away the coldest-hearted person she knew from her life.
Oh, I like that Sharon. A river for cold hearts. Works for me!
I don’t think Josie considered the impact of seeing Lila die. A lot of that fear, resentment and self doubt died in that room. It’s her first real step in moving on. I don’t know about closure as she’s got a lot of healing and growth ahead of her.
I’d love to know what Shannon and Lisette said to her😏
