I can remember when the Harry Potter books were being released and as far as I can remember they have been the only books since where I physically could not put down the book. I had to know what happened next and how it ended.

I would love to hear about other people's favourite books and maybe get them added to my want to read list :)

For me, it was The Hunger Games and Twilight series. I haven't found anything as mind bowling since.

Jennifer When I was a teenager, I was totally obsessed with Dragonlance. I've been trying to put the series together for my own kids. The only book I haven't found so far is, The Soulforge.

Now a days, the last book I enjoyed for entertainment purposes was, Stories of Your Life and Others.

Thanks for sharing Jennifer! I’ve never come across the series myself but definitely add it to my list and give it ago. I had a check on Amazon for the soulforge and there’s a hard book copy being sold not sure if that’s the one you need

Aaron Edward | 2 comments When I was a teenager, I loved Ray Bradbury and Kurt Vonnegut. Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles and Vonnegut’s Welcome to the Monkey House were two of my favorites. I love science fiction. As far as recent favorites go, I just read Jeff VanderMeer’s Annihilation (reluctantly, as I didn’t like the movie) and was absolutely blown away.

Loved Harry Potter, too, it was a great book that I think taught me to see things from other people’s perspectives better as a kid.
