Joshua Harbin | 1 comments I recently finished writing and publishing the most personal thing I’ve ever attempted, a memoir about how an affair with my best friend tore my life apart, and how the grief and fallout forced me to confront everything I’d buried: childhood trauma, toxic family dynamics, emotional hunger, spiritual collapse... all of it.

I didn’t write it to win sympathy or praise, I wrote it because the silence was eating me alive. I tried to tell the truth even when it made me look terrible. And in doing that, I found a kind of peace I never thought I’d reach.

I’m curious what kinds of memoirs move people the most. What makes a life story stick with you? Is it redemption? Brutal honesty? A voice that feels familiar? I'd love to hear your thoughts, and I’d be honored if any of you felt drawn to mine.
