Carolyn's 100 book challenge
Hi Carolyn! Welcome! It's never too late to join! 100 books sounds like a great goal, and as a prolific reader of multiple genres, I'm sure you'll succeed. I'm rooting for you! I hope you've been enjoying your 2025 reads. Look forward to seeing what else you read. Wishing you all the best on your reading journey. Happy reading!
Hi JennH, Thanks. I read to relax and escape the monotony of life working to try and make ends meet. But I love books, so it's no great challenge to be reading physical, digital, and audio books every day. I tend to be reading 3 to 4 books at a time.
Ah, you are someone after my own heart! I can totally relate to reading to escape. I have other reasons, but it is to escape nonetheless. I, too, read a few books at a time. I often get teased about it but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
46/100 Finished Beautiful Ugly, Beautiful Ugly. By Alice FeeneyA book full of plots and subplots, twist and turns..
Update 47/100 Finished The Last Days of Kira Mullan. Wow what an adventure. this one got my blood boiling at the injust and manipulation that nearly destroyed a persons life. Well worth the read for those that love an adventure, a murder, police puzzles and a building full of inadequate manipulative people.
Update 48/100Finished Wild Eyes by Elsie Silver. Fantastic author of romance books that aren't the mushy type but deal with realistic situations.
Update 49/100Finished Orbital by Samantha Harvey. This was a challenging read that waves like a tapestry or an artists impression using words to paint a mental picture about space, the space station and the people who go into space and their families. So worth the read.
Update50/100
Finished The God of the Woods by Liz More. This was an awesome read about adventure, mystery, murder, wealth, cover ups, mystery and women pushing through the stereo typing of the 1970's.
UpdateFinished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 11/7
51/100
Such a good series. I am sorry I never read it earlier in life but an really loving the books.
Finished book 66/100The Art of Sonship: King David had 20 Sons. Only one reigned. Which Son will you be?
Looks like you're making great progress on your goal, Carolyn! I hope you are enjoying lots of terrific books!

Lets see how we do. I tend to read 7 to 9 books a month depending on their size and how much I need to concentrate on the book. Babel is full of technical stuff around languages and cultures so I had to concentrate hard.
