This so much fun! I have a couple of ideas:1. Revisiting or rereading a childhood favorite and then pairing that with a contemporary or adult version or experience of the story. For example, a childhood favorite is The Secret Garden which could be paired with The Enchanted April or The Forgotten Garden. This could also be split into two prompts.
2. A book with two authors.
3. A seasoned protagonist.
also wondering about a cookbook prompt. I am not sure how it would work. Maybe a Read It, Make/Bake It challenge? This could be a celebrity chef or from a cookbook that's been on your shelf forever. I am preparing to do a personal cook this cookbook challenge and thought it might be something to consider for this group.
I like the type of prompts that are specific and can be confirmed before reading the book: a book with a colorful cover or a book with punctuation in the title. I also enjoy the prompts that I think are simple but can be taken in many different ways such as "a small book" or "an old book".A random prompt idea "A book your high school science teacher would enjoy." My high school biology teach Mr. Meyers was a Vietnam veteran who loved to surf. I think I could find a bunch of titles he might enjoy.
Other than reading, another passion in my life is sports/athletics. I would like to see a prompt for "A book about an athlete." Often athlete memoirs talk about perseverance, teamwork, and other skills that are applicable to life outside of sport.

June 11, 2025 -- Week 24
Alright, for this week's discussion, we’re going to do something that we RARELY do anymore. We want to hear your best prompt ideas for future challenges.
In a group this size, we don't normally accept unsolicited prompts BUT we know that some of you have prompts that you've been dying to let out in the group, so... now is your chance!
NOTES: we love seeing your passion and creativity. We’re happy to look at all of your glorious ideas, however, there are no guarantees of any of these prompts making it into future challenges.
Prompt suggestions must be confined to this post only. Other posts will be removed because it gets too hectic in the group feed.
And because we know this is a question that will pop up -- we currently have all the 2025 minis pre-planned and 52 prompts locked in for 2026. ;)
