Easter is coming up! Let's have fun but never forget the true meaning! Let's be a light to everyone around us!
Just curious, how many of you celebrate Passover? My church did a Passover Seder tonight, and I was just wondering if that is uncommon…
I don't celebrate Passover, but we do communion, maybe once a year, or every few moths!
I think all churches do that, though!
@Cathrine personally my church doesn’t do that… but my homeschool co-op teacher was talking the other day about how there are Christian Passover Seders 😝💖
Our church didn’t do that, but some of the people that go there do it, and our family has done it for a long time, we didn’t do it this year, but we usually do
Happy Easter everyone!!! Remember, Jesus died for YOU in public, so don't live for him in private!!!
Is tithing a biblical requirement for Christians today, or has tradition shaped our understanding of giving? J.A. Cox explores this question through Scripture in Tithing and Giving: A Biblical Study.Tithing and Giving: A Biblical Study

I came away with several things I want to explore further.
Hi I’m like trying to get into reading the bible and I don’t know where to start any recommendations
My Bible recommendation to start off is the Gospel (Mark, Matthew, Luke, John) or 1 Corinthians (which I like to read the most!) or you could start off in the beginning with Genesis, it's based on what God has called you to read and he will set your mind on how to dive into the word, sorry idk if this helps, but I hope it does!!
Reese wrote: "Hi I’m like trying to get into reading the bible and I don’t know where to start any recommendations"I agree with Chole, but also with reading the bible if you don't know how long to read or how (if that makes sense) sometimes it can be really overwhelming. I speak from experience. So, what I do is pray before I read. I read however long the Holy Spirit wants me too and then pray after. Nothing fancy, just personal time with God but everyone has their own flow so whatever works. I hope that helps!
I agree with Ava, also if you like to write/journal, I think that would be a way to understand and comprehend what you had read or just highlighting verses and praying to God about it as Matthew 6:1 says, "Your Father knows what you need before you ask him" Meaning to me that the Lord knows your questions before you speak, so do not be afraid as you're going through your prayers and experiences through the Bible and with life, just bring it forth with God and he may not always give a direct answer as it might be a 'wait, not yet' as we have to go through the seasons of whatever you are facing and God will prepare you to come into the storm or come out of one in life, so I think journaling will help and for start offs it doesn't have to be a very organized detailed discussion (unless you want it to be because it's yours) My mom is also starting to sell painted Bibles soon for anyone for wants to buy some!! (I'll keep anyone posted for whoever wants one!)
