Congrats on getting in w your mom!! Crossing my fingers for you two on both items! I went to JASNA MD's Goucher Day in Oct 22...Jenn announced they officially had the AGM. I'd love to go back but not on this trip as I might be arriving early/or going to Civil War sites before the AGM. And currently planning on running around Baltimore some to get of the museums/historical places.

I went with...sorry to tell you...the Persuasion play and P&P 1940. Checked activities and tours this AM and it appears there is some availability on some items.

When did you get on? We both got on at 12 pm and persuasion was already sold out

Right at 12pm as well. That happened to a # of folks over various activities. Happened to me in reg. for Denver w the JAFF writing class! I got in sometime mid-July. And it was a worth it. :)

Lol, no. Dealing w lingering physical and mental issues caused by a terrible move, gentle breakup, and continued issues(a month after the move...no mailbox key despite asking for it twice and no permanent key) w evil evil evil landlord Fanny Dashwood! Yup, I went nearly full Marianne!

Despite the above, and operating at barely 60%(and 60% of very little is almost nothing!), I'm currently planning on going. If you see an admiral's hat traveling by, it could be me! (I wont be in full uniform...to paraphrase Mr Meatloaf "I love JA but wont do that"). I hope you and your mom have a great time. I dropped the Persuasion play just be before the deadline. Hope you two got in.

Great! Glad you two are in! Mostly #8 above. The last day to cancel anything was around Sept 10. The chances of going were low. Also, not sure when I'm leaving the AGM. Might have to leave early. Less important than above but...I thought the playwright and a local actress were to perform in it. That has changed or never was. :( :( There were a few tickets added for non-JASNA performance Sat afternoon. But I can't commit to that.

I will try. I will probably go to the Paula and Hillary chat first. If I have any energy left, I will go to the ball for at least a short while. Will try to save an energy drink for it. In Cleveland, had planned to go back after the Brit ladies chat(they were fantastic…and were enjoying their wine!) but ran out of energy.

Oh sorry, I was not clear…as always. The AGM last year was in Cleveland. Also went to Denver the yr before that. I thought the programs and speakers in Cleveland were ok, thought the city was a delight. Everything in Denver was fantastic…except the altitude sickness!
