Whenever I am writing, I usually search for a verse that would inspire my writing and the theme. As I was writing my middle grade book, Through the Flames, the Bible verse that really touched me was Joshua 1:9. It was when God commanded Joshua to take lead of the people after Moses died. He told him not to be afraid. Even after I finished my book, the verse has stayed with me. It reminds me that no matter what fears I have faced, God gives me courage even in the smallest ways. I am curious to hear what other verses have inspired your own writing?
