Addicted to YA discussion

Suggestions MUST fit the theme! In this case, it means it HAS to be the FIRST book in a SERIES, it also CANNOT be a book we have read before!
Each person can suggest ONE book per topic. If you suggest more than one, your first entry will be chosen.
YA books only!
Must be widely available (in print, at libraries, kindle, etc.). It also needs to be available in multiple forms, not only kindle or only print, etc.

You can search the list by hitting "control + F" on PCs and "command + F" on Macs, you then type in the title and if we have read it, it will pop up.

If possible, use the "add book/author" link which allows us to see a list of the books and authors.

The voting list will be capped at 15 so even though it COULD stay open until the 5th of July, it may close before then if we get enough suggestions. Thank you!

That's the second book in a series, if it is the one I think it is, and we have read it, but you can recommend it as a re-read!

Water Wishes: Bound by Tides.

First in the Water wishes Trilogy, just launched today June 27th.

It is about 15 year old Bay who is forbidden from the ocean by her father. If you like mermaids, magic and mystery, it might pull you in.

The Princes Trials by Cordelia K Castel. 5 book series. SO GOOD. Rebel and Prince.

Unfortunately, it isn't available in more than one format, and only in print. It looks great, though!!! If it becomes available in Kindle and/or Audiobook, let us know so we can put it on a future poll!!!

The black magician trilogy, severely underrated. Not sure if its listed as ya but its definitely not a kids book and i read it when i was 12, my dad got it for me. Its sooooo good.
