Mystery/Thriller Reading Friends discussion

I’m also looking forward to heading down to New Orleans, September 3rd-7th, for the Bouchercon World Mystery Convention. It’s a terrific writer/reader conference I go to whenever I can, placed in a different city each year. New Orleans will be a blast, I’m sure, as will next year in Calgary, Canada, where I am thrilled to be the American Guest of Honor!

At first I thought "what? Barry is going to New Orleans B-Con?? But then I read on and read the title more closely. Yes, Mark Greaney has been to a few B-Cons, and I'm glad he is the American Guest of Honor in Calgary? (that is, if American anything will be celebrated in Canada by then, lol)
