Play Book Tag discussion

A story of friendship tested by a desperate heist/ road trip for the friend that stayed as a link. Samantha, Holly and Katie were the best of friends in college with especially Samantha and Holly being inseparable in the adventures. Somehow after graduation, Holly disappeared eventually reuniting with Katie but some barrier continued between her and Samantha. Years later, Katie is back in the hospital with another round of cancer. All she wants is her beloved diabetic and very anxious dog lost to her ex husband in the divorce. Katie attributes the dog to being key to her beating cancer the first time. Holly and Samantha must overcome their differences to rescue the dog and drive him back to Minnesota from California. Of course nothing goes quite as planned including an uninvited third met on the plane to Cali.

The road trip adventure was pretty fun and I appreciated how the quirks and detours moved the story and friendship. It is hard to believe that the friend break up happened so absolutely when there was definitely room for error but I still enjoyed the trip.
