I just breezed through a series by Kerry Wilkinson that starts with The One Who Fell.I'm on book four now. There are lots of little threads left dangling to keep you interested and it's on kindle unlimited.

I haven't red this one yet, but it looks good to me:A Small Death in the Great Glen by A.D. Scott.
It was published in 2010. The story is set in the 1950s.

There’s an audiobook I’ve been meaning to listen to, not sure it if can count. ‘We Play Games’. English author, Sarah A Denzil. It’s one of those big cast audiobooks which are fun, but I can’t vouch for the author.
