Kay is in the water he always forgets he can't swim as he struggles to pull his head up above the waters as he seems to cry for help but no one seems to hear him as his head bobs beneath the waves for maybe one last time.

Gatsby is out having a nice beach day, he comes here every weekend after work. That when he hears a cry for help. They shoot up, quickly remove their shirt and dive into the water. He transforms into a siren to swim quicker, diving down, they grab the struggling person and pull them up to the surface, swimming them to shore and transforming back into a human.

"Woah there, you okay?"

His eyes are closed it was clear he had to much water in his lungs. His lips were a slight shimer of blue but his cheeks flushed with gold flakes

Gatsby flips them on their stomach, hitting their back to get the water out. He did not want to do CPR if he could help it.

"You need to cough if you can" they say calmly, trying to avoid panicking the fellow beachgoers, who were now staring and gawking at the situation before them

His tongue was blocking his airway as his lips turn slightly darker blue he wasn't responding. A small cut on his upper lip bleeds as his face is slightly straped against a shell in the sand.

Gatsby flips him over again and tips back his head to open his airway, he starts to do CPR with enough force to break ribs. Every twenty beats, he does mouth to mouth, trying to get his airway clear.

he coughs up the water as his eyes widen trying to shove off gatsby but is to weak to

"Hey, hey, calm down" Gatsby says gently, pulling off of him but having his hand out for support, just it case they pass out. "Do you know where you are?"

He groans "no,where am i..." he says while trying to get up but passes out

Gatsby gently shakes him awake, trying to keep them conscious. "You're at the beach, do you need to go to the hospital?" He says, perching them up aganist a rock. He quickly runs over to his bag, bringing back a protein bar and water bottle

He groans "my ribs hurt thats all and is that...food?" he struggles to keep awake

Gatsby hands them the food and water, sitting down next to him, he glances to their chest, the ribs don't seem broken, Gatsby guesses he didn't get far enough into CPR to damage them too bad "yeah, eat up, slowing though"

He nods closing his eyes their cheeks were slightly more tinted with the gold like before as he struggles to eat the bar

Gatsby takes a sigh of relief as he eats, he stands up and shoos off the crowd, keeping them away from Kay as he regains himself. "You a little better?"

Kay nods whispering "names Kayan but call me Kay." he whispers "thanks."

"Gatsby" he says gently, a little uneasy about letting Kay drive himself home, Gatsby stands up and grabs his car keys. "Why don't I drive you home? You'll be disoriented for a while"

he nods "pretty name,is it like named after the great Gatsby?"

(yes,i actually know the book aswell)

Gatsby nods and starts to bring him to his car "yeah, I read the novel a while back and loved it" he says as he hands Kay his phone. "Put your address in there, I'll take you home."

He looks at the screen and its blurry to him as he looks away whispering "its blurry"

Gatsby takes the phone back and gets in the car, quickly buckling both himself and Kay in. "You can stay in my guest bedroom tonight" he turns on the ignition, and starts to drive into the sunset

he nods whispering "thanks...i didn't need people knowing i live on a bench"

Gatsby's eyes widen at that comment, turning to Kay, before realizing to keep his eyes on the road, he whips his head about around to the street "Do you...need a place to stay? Like I said, I have a guest room, you can stay there if you need to."

He doesn't say anything focusing on the sunset since he loved those he looks relaxed as the shine brings out their eyes more

"Hello? Did you hear me?" Gatsby's eyes are filled with worry, he pulls into the parking lot of his apartment building

Kay doesn't respond embarassed to say yes.

Gatsby's eyes soften as he brings him to the elevator, pressing the button for the forth floor, they arrive at the apartment.

Its decently spacious, with sailor, boat, and sea memorabilia as far as the eye can see, the curtains have anchors on them, theres a boat steering wheel mounted to the wall, cardboard sharks laying on a shelf, many ships in a bottle, the fishtank has a pirate ship in it as well. Gatsby helps Kay get to the couch. "You can say yes, I won't judge you..."

He nods as he looks around

"Okay, I left the guest room mostly untouched, you can do what you want with it" Gatsby says, getting out the ingredients to make a simple sandwich

he nods holding his side as he goes to lay down "thanks..again"

"Its late, why don't you get sleep and we can talk more in the morning" they say, grabbing some extra blankets and holding then out to Kay

I'm back, was eating dinner))

He nods takes taking the blankets.


(I do have to go shortly)

Gatsby nods "goodnight Kay" before walking off to his own room and climbing in bed

Ok, good, I won't be on the rest of the night anyway))

he looks at him surprised to hear his name whispering "good night.."

So, time skip to next morning?))

kay is up leaning on the counter confused where he was

Gatsby wakes up, sleep still in his eyes with a bedhead. "Hello, good morning, how much of last night do you remember?"

I won't be able to be on for too long, my grandpa is coming 🙄))

They whispers "only that my ribs hurt and your name is gatsby and your eyes are pretty"

(oof,i'm sorry dude)

Gatsby almost chokes on his own breath, a blush spreading across his cheeks "oh! Thank you! I brought you back to my place, you can stay as long as you want."

Sorry, my family went out to dinner, ill only be on for about 30 more minutes until I have to leave to see my grandpa))

He tilts his head "you okay?" not noticing the blush


(its fine,about how long after that)

It'll be an hour to an hour and 30 minutes but he's leaving tomorrow morning))

Gatsby takes a deep breath, composing himself, before looking back at him "yeah, what do you want for breakfast?"

(I should be online but i don't know for sure)

He nods as they whispers "simple toast...with butter...thats all.."

Ok, we can always continue tomorrow if youre not, and I promise this time i'll be patient))

Gatsby looks at him, and goes into the kitchen, "you sure? I could make you eggs and pancakes if you want, it wouldn't be a burden or anything"

(i'll try,i might be going to the beach tomr)

He whispers "eggs? pancakes? whats that?" he blinks lost as he leans on to the wall looking at him wondering why his eyes are so breath taking as he curses "fuck,no...ur straight Kayan"

That's okay!))

Gatsby's jaw drops open as they rumage through the pantry, "absolutely not! Everyone deserves to know what eggs and pancakes are, I'm making them for you."

I'll try to let you know when i'm able to talk))

He looks around trying to help him some find the ingrentants moving an hand so gatsby doesn't hit his head
