GROUP READ Our July theme is Island, and our group read for this month is Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry. This contemporary romance novel is set on Little Crescent Island and features two writers competing for the chance to write the biography of a reclusive octogenarian.

Monthly challenges How Are You Getting There? is an open challenge to explore travel and modes of transportation in your book selections. Treasure Island is a prompt-based challenge to seek hidden treasures among your books.
Quarterly challenges Rage on the Page is an open challenge to read books with anger in their themes or titles, or with red covers. Recreational Anger features prompts based on movies from a variety of locations, times, and genres.
Yearly challenges can help you reach your reading goals for the year in 2025. Check out A Guide to the 2025 Yearly Challenges to learn more about our year-long challenges!
