Sara (saranoelle) Hey! ☺️ I’m looking for ARC reads on ebook. I’ve done a handful of them before, and am open to any genre—romcom, fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, poetry, etc. 🙃 All I ask is that it is closed door, and minimal language. I’ll review here on Goodreads. Thank you!

Teresa Krasteva | 5 comments Hi Sara,

I am working with indie poet Nick Calder to help create some buzz around his new illustrated poetry collection "Glass and Gravel" that comes out on August 1st!

"Glass and Gravel" is a vivid, visceral, very raw, dark and lyrical exploration into deeply emotional themes such as identity, childhood trauma, self-reliance, and generational conflict. The author experiments heavily with the visual form and structure of the poems as he fragments them and expands them onto multiple pages. A lot of the poems are also accompanied by beautiful illustrations as a way to amplify the emotional impact of the collection.

Even if you do not read or like poetry, this book might be for you! I have found that people gravitate towards it because it is so non-traditional in style and it provides a space for all readers! It is so important to support self-published and indie authors!

Here is the free ARC:

I hope you give this book a chance! Happy reading!

Warmly,
Tereza

Parker Williamson (parkerwilliamson) | 24 comments Hi!
I'm a debut romance author. My book is coming out Aug. 30 2025.

For the month of July I would like to give my book away for free. I would appreciate an honest review, but even that is optional.

If you are interested here is a download link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vq8s...

The book is 'The Governor's Daughter : A Contemporary Romance about Truth, Freedom, Beauty and Love' by Parker Williamson

Camilla Reyes was raised with all the qualities the United States expects from a Pacific territory: beauty, wealth, and obedience. But when she publicly champions independence for her homeland of Hangua, defying her father—the island's powerful governor—the colony erupts in chaos. To contain the fallout, Camilla is forced into an arranged marriage.

Desperate to escape, Camilla strikes a deal with the last man she'd ever trust: Senator Julian Oz, the sharp-tongued politician who humiliated her on live television. Experienced and ruthlessly disciplined, Julian sees opportunity in Camilla as dangerous attraction ignites between them—under his tutelage, they go from enemies to lovers. To survive, she must become the perfect partner to a man who’s either using her… or falling for her.

This puts her on a collision course with Mari Cruz—Camilla’s best friend. From friend to lover, now lover to enemy, they shared one kiss too many before Camilla’s engagement to Julian shattered everything. As tensions escalate between the United States and China, the two women who once shared everything now face each other on opposite sides of Hangua's most divisive fight: statehood or independence—a battle that will determine their island's fate.

On Hangua, politics is legacy, love is currency, and betrayal is the price of freedom.

For fans of Enemies to Lovers, Arranged Marriages, Fake Engagements, Sapphic Love, Political Romance and Love Triangles.

In Deagros, the gods offer trials to determine who is worthy of their aid. Six years later, Miles is ready to take them on, scale their mountain, and demand his wish from the king of the gods himself.

As Miles attempts to bring his parents back to life, the next generation of leaders begin to face the consequences handed down to them by their parents. Unexpected consequences to righteous actions leave the world's fate in the hands of a few good souls. Where cruel men, devious gods, and unjust fate meet, a tragic adventure is about to unfold.

Hello, I published the first volume of the series inspired by a real character, Raimondello Orsini del Balzo, set in the Italian Middle Ages. It's a historical adventure novel. I would need honest reviews to help it grow. Would you help me?

Minimal langage—like spicy langage or cussing? Mine cusses, but isn't very spicy.

Brianna Trader (ibebriannat-dr) | 4 comments Hi Sara!

I know you already have a lot of comments but I’d be so thankful if you check out my eARC. The link has blurb, date, and everything else. It’s YA dystopian fantasy, no language and everything in the series will be fade to black/closed door!

Hi Sara! I saw your request and I think my debut book, 'One of a Kind Creatures', is a perfect match for your criteria.

It is a children’s picture book (ages 3-7), so it’s definitely 'closed door' and has zero bad language! It’s a 5-minute 'cozy fantasy' about a vegetarian lion and his misfit friends. Since you're open to all genres and enjoy ebooks, this could be a light, colorful, and heartwarming break for you. I’d love to have your honest review on Goodreads! Let me know if I can send you the PDF.

Leon Collin | 19 comments Hi Sara!
I'd love to have you as an ARC reader for my book ODYSSEUS — a psychological thriller reimagining of Homer's Odyssey. It's historical fiction meets modern suspense, completely closed door, literary prose with minimal language.
It follows Odysseus through his 10-year journey home, stripped to its raw human core: survival, manipulation, divine intervention, and the cost of getting back to Ithaca.
If you're interested, I'll send you the ebook (epub/mobi). All I ask is an honest review on Amazon (and Goodreads if you'd like) within 2-3 weeks.
Let me know!
Leon

C. Jordan Gray | 9 comments Empires don’t collapse in battle. They collapse in the decisions that follow.

Hidden Sol War is a high-concept political science fiction thriller set more than a decade after an interstellar conflict that nearly shattered civilization. Through the voices of council officials, soldiers, survivors, and those who stood just outside the firestorm, the truth behind the war slowly surfaces — and with it, the consequences of choices made at the highest levels of power.

This is a politically driven story with strategic tension, moral ambiguity, and the lingering shockwaves of a conflict too large to understand from a single perspective.

If you enjoy political intrigue in the vein of Dune or council-level tension similar to The Expanse, I’d value your perspective.

N.T. McQueen | 35 comments Looking for ARC readers for my starred Kirkus review YA historical novel NEVER HIDE FROM THE DEVIL, based on a true story of resistance during the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

RELEASE DATE: May 5th, 2026 via CYNREN PRESS
356 pages - short chapters
Copies available on Edelweiss or from publisher Cynren Press sales.media@cynren.com

"McQueen has crafted more than a novel; he has created a literary monument to the defenders of Van, proving that resistance lives in the refusal to be silent and that memory — when wielded with this much conviction — is the most unyielding munition of all." - The Armenian Weekly

SUMMARY:

Fourteen-year-old Suren Simonian, an Armenian, lives as most boys his age do in the city of Van, eastern Anatolia. He goes to school, gawks at boys’ fistfights, and does his best to avoid the Turkish gendarmes. Most days he spends with his Turkish best friend, Hamza. But in spring 1915, rumors spread through Van of Turkish massacres of Armenian villages. Now Turkish troops have massed outside Van with one goal—to exterminate the city’s Armenians.

As Suren struggles to understand what it means to be a man, he knows one thing for sure: When everything you’ve known and loved is at stake, the only answer is to fight back. You can never hide from the devil.

Inspired by a true story of resistance during the Armenian Genocide, this stirring coming-of-age novel is a parable of courage, friendship, and impossible choices in the midst of unimaginable horror.
