Yeah same, I remember being six and having an anxiety/panic attack at school and a teacher just yelled at me and grabbed my arm and pulled me outside and then walked away…
This year I got my first anxiety attack- or at least that’s what I was told it was. I was at a big youth thing for a weekend with a couple hundred people I don’t know and so I’ve dealt with suicidal things in the past ( discussing for a different day) but in a group talk about mental health all the suitcase stuff got triggered really bad and the rest of the day I was all by myself purposely avoiding the people I knew, my breathing was scattered all over the place, my heart rate was at like 120 and I sat and coloured for around 2 hours until a youth leader can to bring me to a councillor. He told me I should probably see a therapist but I already had that conversation with my parents when my anxiety/suicidal stuff was really bad and they said no… so I was really anxious to tell them. And when I told my mom she said unless I was raped as a child, I shouldn’t go to therapy at my age. So after a LONG conversation she agreed to one session which I still haven’t had and it’s been almost 3 months now…
Sorry for the long rant, I’ve been keeping it in for a while now. Let me now if you’ve ever had an anxiety attack, if that’s what I had or not
I feel like there can be so many reasons for going to therapy not just one. A lot of teens go through things alone which lead to things becoming a lot worse, if u ever need someone to talk to I’m here.

yea, I have terrible anxiety and usually it’s rly hard for me to talk to people (bc I also have crazy trust issues) so I hold it in until I get through the day pretty much, and I’ll try can release by myself. It really sucks when I can’t get through the day, and acc one time I completely snapped and started having a full on panic attack in front of my class. It’s been better, but praying for everyone who feels this way<33
My biggest tip for anxiety is music, find a song you relate to or really love and blast it on your earbuds on repeat lol it really works for me

That helps me to!
I have found a new method to help late night anxiety so I'll tell everyone else cause maybe it'll work for themExercise helps me a Iot, it doesn't have to be intensive, just a walk or something, it helps a lot

oh i’m sorry it’s getting bad again. i don’t have diagnosed anxiety but whenever i get really really anxious i always try to find something to ground me and remind me that i’m there and nothings wrong. music and books tend to help too! 💗

oof yeah, but screwing up is a part of life, you can never learn without failing i guess. though i’m being hella hypocritical bc i also fall apart at every mistake so i get you 😭
