Thanks, Carol. I enjoyed my reread, it had been over 10 years. Hi, Jackie! How are you liking it so far?
Jackie wrote: "I just started and I like it!"Can’t wait to discuss some of the characters! Happy Reading!
I know it’s a holiday weekend in the US, and big holiday time elsewhere (July), so if anyone else cares to join in, welcome!
I'm not making much progress because I've been so busy with moving and now unpacking/organizing, but we have a hot spell coming up and that should help me stop and read more!

Good luck with getting all settled in, Jackie, such an exciting but exhausting time!
Thank you, Susan, so far I love having all this room (it's only a 2 bedroom/1 bath but I'd been living in a studio) and I have a beautiful view, as well. This morning I'm loving watching birds shower in the sprinkler, since I need to water.

It’s so hot all day, but there’s actually a breeze now - yay! Enjoy your new space.
I'm half way through and enjoying it. I don't think there is a single character that I don't like but everyone of them has annoyed me at some point or other. I guess that makes it realistic.

I ended up putting this one aside and will start over again, probably tomorrow. I want to savor it and not rush and other things got in the way! Today I need to finish the book for my IRL bookclub.

Take care, Jackie, I know you must be busy with your move! The threads will be up.
