I wrapped up this book pretty quickly! I think I enjoyed it more than the Sirens. Throughout the whole book I kept thinking how disappointed I was going to be if Ryan was Mr. Smith 😂 I wasn’t in LOVE with this book, but it kept me interested enough to keep reading! The best part was obviously the end when Devon? Or Amy? called Luca and said hello Mrs. Smith 😅 It just felt like such a Hollywood ending lol I can totally see this book being made into a movie. I gave it three stars, because I just felt like something was missing to keep me totally hooked! Like some big shocker or cliffhanger. I kind of rolled my eyes that they moved in with eachother after 3 months, but my parents were engaged after four months, so who am I to judge 😂

I gave this book 4/5 stars. It definitely was a quick read and kept me intrigued, though I got annoyed by the main character quite a bit. She just sort of had a big ego sometimes that annoyed me. Also agree with the Hollywood ending and unrealistic ending but I guess that’s what ya get with a thriller like this.

I enjoyed this one a lot! I stayed interested for the whole read, and I was expecting it to be Ryan, so I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't. I did get slightly confused with all the jumping timelines, so I had to reread some sections

Ahhh yes. The ego lol I find that most main characters are annoying to me, because I’m like why in the world would you do that? But then I remember if they played it safe the book wouldn’t be interesting 😂 Anyone have any suggestion for another book? Our little club is dwindling 😂

And if it had been Ryan as the bad guy that would have been the most predictable book ever lol

I gave it 4 stars 😊 I read the whole thing in 3 days while we were on vacation LOL it was an interesting read that had some solid surprises at the end. I like how everything came together. I would have HATED if Ryan was Mr. Smith 🤣 what a creep if he set the job to hook up with her. so having it turn out to be 'George' was good. It is tricky when you have a smart main character because you get that ego come through, but I still found her likable in the sense that she was doing what she could after a rough start to life. i especially liked the whole love/hate with Rachel 🤣 her annoyance became admiration

😅 ya i would not have expected her to stay with him. There was a bit when I thought she would end up with George since he was becoming a more involved character, but obviously that went a different direction

I’ve been recommended The Book of Azrael a few times! I don’t know much about it. I know there are some “spicy” scenes, so don’t know if it would be for everyone lol let me know what you think or any other suggestions!

I played some of my audiobook for my husband and he was like what in the world is this 😂😂 Maybe it will come in early?! I think it’s a popular book now

I ordered mine on Thrift Books because the library didn’t have it. I will hopefully have it by end of the week or next week to get started!! 🤞🏼
