As Christian writers, we often face the delicate challenge of portraying humanity while remaining true to Christ. As a Christian fiction author who writes fiction for teens and kids, I'm always searching for that balance. So that leads to the question: How honest and realistic should we be when portraying sin and humanity? How can we give the gospel to others while making sure that we are authentic?
