Laurel County Public Library discussion

August's Bookmarked selection will be One by One by Freida McFadden. We'll meet at the library at 6pm on Tuesday, August 12th in the Community Room. Copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Circulation Desk for anyone wishing to participate. If you can't join us at the library, please feel free to leave your thoughts here. It is past Aug 12, but I did read One by One and gave it 3 stars. There were some bad things about it and at least one good thing. Since the author used the same twist that Agatha Christie had used, I guessed it right away. So that was a disappointment. And, in the beginning, it was so very obvious that they were on the wrong road to the hotel, but yet, no one seemed overly concerned about it. They kept driving on as if was normal to drive on an unused/unmaintained road to reach the hotel. One thing I liked about the story were the anonymous chapters sprinkled throughout.
