I loved the way of kings, and heard that words of radiance was the best, a masterpiece... but I really did not experience it like that. Felt really bored reading this. Book could have been 600 pages or so, pacing sucked. Do you guys feel the same?

The first book was great but as the series went on the books just didn't hold up that well. Words of radiance was just alright compared to Way of kings.
Words of Radiance was fantastic — there’s no one quite like Brandon Sanderson when it comes to world-building."
I think it comes down to what appeals to you in reading. Words of Radiance leans more into worldbuilding than Way of Kings did and does have a slower pace, I think. Other than the last hundred pages or so, I felt the story wasn't as 'in-your-face' as Way of Kings. I can understand the disconnect between it and Words of Radiance. That being said, it was amazing to me, even on the 5th re-read. :-)
