Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hello!
I hope it’s okay to post this here—I've been trying to update the cover image on my Goodreads book, but I keep running into conflicting information and circular instructions.

Some threads suggest adding an alternate cover edition, but that doesn’t seem to be an option for Kindle books…? Others recommend contacting customer support, but that just redirects to the Good Librarians page…which then says Kindle books are updated automatically through Amazon and not managed by librarians. But my updated cover has been live on Amazon for nearly three weeks now and it still hasn’t appeared on Goodreads.

I’d love for readers to see the current cover on the book’s Goodreads page and I want to make sure I follow the proper channels for getting it updated but I’m just feeling a bit lost and would appreciate any guidance from the experts. (Also apologies in advance if I’m in the wrong place XD).

Kindle books are now supposed to be updated automatically, but librarians can change them. Alternate cover editions are for physical formats.
