Tisha I went to your signing in San Diego for this book! You were hilarious.

So, honestly, is there a story behind the "the f***ing French" (sorry, I can never remember if I'm allowed to swear on here)...or is it just a random bit that continues?

Also, does anybody ever get uppity and offended about it? (Understanding how unlikely is is for people to overreact to humor, right?)

message 3: by Stacie (new)

Stacie Did you really read all of Shakespeare's works before starting to write this one?

Christopher Moore | 46 comments No. I read most of them, but to be honest, I think there were five or six I didn't get to, like Trollus and Cressida and a couple of the histories.

I just think it's funny. No one has gotten mad yet, but we'll see. The book comes out in England this month, I think.

Brent | 1 comments What made you decide to go with this story? I loved it. You're writing always makes me laugh, (literally laugh out loud laugh, where people look at me like I'm crazy or something). But this just seemed like it was a little off the beaten path for how you normally write.
