Apologies, but I'm not sure which book came first, but you have a few that involve this town. Was that the idea when you wrote your story (that there would be others that followed) or did you write the first one and thought, hey, this town seems to have a few more tales left in it?

Also, the demon made a brief appearance in Lamb. Did you know he was going to have his own story later or did you decide to write him into Lamb because you already had him in this one?

I wrote the first one because I was living in a town just like Pine Cove and I couldn't afford to go anywhere to research. I did the second one there because I had a deadline and I didn't have time to go somewhere to research it. Same with the third.
